With the victory at Indian Wells, Federer reached the jubilee 90th career title. Before him on the all-time list are only Ivan Lendl with 94 and leader Jimmy Connors with 109 trophies.

Indian Wells Masters triumph has added significance, considering the fact that Swiss became the oldest winner of the Masters tournament in 35 years. This record surpassed the previous Andre Agassi for a year and four months.
