Trump’s need to have more and feel more important than others doesn’t stop with firing people investigating him or needlessly provoking other countries—it’s even in how he eats with others. Time visited the President for dinner and shared their rather odd experience:

The waiters know well Trump’s personal preferences. As he settles down, they bring him a Diet Coke, while the rest of us are served water, with the Vice President sitting at one end of the table. With the salad course, Trump is served what appears to be Thousand Island dressing instead of the creamy vinaigrette for his guests. When the chicken arrives, he is the only one given an extra dish of sauce. At the dessert course, he gets two scoops of vanilla ice cream with his chocolate cream pie, instead of the single scoop for everyone else.”

When he told Time “we’re cutting costs, big, big, costs,” they probably didn’t think a scoop of ice cream would be among them. But with Canada controlling the dairy fields, Trump must feel it was crucial.

Time also reported that “The tastes of Pence are also tended to. Instead of the pie, he gets a fruit plate.” Although, that could just be Trump trying to mock his VP.

At least Oreos cookies weren’t involved. We know how much Trump love Oreos.
