Die-hard Trump supporter who followed the then presidential candidate on the campaign trail to 45 of his rallies now feels betrayed.

What drew Kraig Moss to Trump was the death of his 24-year-old son, Rob Moss, who he found dead in his bed in January 2014 of a heroin overdose.

He said while deeply hurt by the death of his son, he was encouraged to support Donald Trump because of his promise to help those with addiction.

Moss even spoke with the Republican candidate while on the campaign trail, and Trump offered encouraging words, which made his loyalty seem justified.

“And I know what you went through,” Trump said to Moss at a January 2016 rally. “And this is a great father, I can see it and your son is proud of you.”

However, Moss now say’s he’s no longer on Trump’s train because of the president’s American Health Care Act. The proposed legislation would drop addiction treatment and mental health mandate, affecting nearly 1.3 million Americans.

Now Moss believes everything Trump said was a lie.

“Now I don’t believe he was true in his word when he was speaking. I think he was looking for votes, to be honest with you,” Moss said. “It’s not at all what Mr. Trump promised everybody he was going to provide for us. “I feel that now—anger, I feel hurt inside.”
