Following a series of New York Times reports showing that Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort all attended a meeting at Trump Tower with a Russian lawyer and a British publicist claiming to have dirt on the DNC and Hillary Clinton, the White House scurried to tie up loose ends.

NBC issued a report that may force the White House to change its narrative. According to NBC, yet another individual with strong ties to the Russian government attended the meeting on June 9, 2016 at Trump Tower. This individual, which NBC is refusing to name, is  a Russian-American lobbyist and former Soviet counterintelligence officer.

Ex-Soviet Counter Intelligence Officer Rinat Akhmetshin confirmed he also attended a June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with Donald Trump Jr. that is being scrutinized for Moscow’s efforts to aid the Trump campaign, the Associated Press reported Friday.

Rinat Akhmetshin was born in Russia, where he served in the Soviet military prior to immigrating to the United States. He currently holds a dual citizenship, and often is referred to as a ‘Russian political gun for hire’.

The cooperation between the Trump Campaign and the Kremlin was not proved so far, it is yet another major shoe to drop about a meeting that the Trump administration claims was nothing.  In fact, when Sean Hannity asked Donald Trump Jr., “So as far as you know, as far as this incident is concerned, this is all of it?” Trump Jr.’s response was, “This is everything. This is everything.

Apparently Jared Kushner recently revised his list of foreign agents he had met, adding over 100 individuals, and this individual was not included.
