GOP Representative Martha McSally was called out for posting fake compliments to her own Facebook account on Monday.
On Sunday afternoon, an Arizona congresswoman posted an uncontroversial and innocuous status update regarding Arizonans’ service during the Vietnam War.
However, the congresswoman immediately moved to post the first comment on the update in an apparent bid to highlight some pro-McSally sock-puppetry.
The comment has since been deleted. McSally is currently locked in a contentious primary battle for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Jeff Flake.
Her opponents include Arizona State Senator Kelli Ward and former sheriff Joe Arpaio.
