The list of Republicans and associates of President Trump, who are likely to face some kind of indictment or charge or prison time in the probe by Special Counsel Robert Mueller continues to grow.
Washington Post reported that Alex van der Zwaan who was fired last year by a prominent international law firm became the fourth person to plead guilty in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, admitting Tuesday that he lied to federal investigators about his contacts with a Trump campaign official.
The 33-year-old attorney who worked for law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, has admitted in federal court to making false statements about his dealings with former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates.
Democratic Coalition Against Trump co-founder Scott Dworkin connects the dots on Twitter saying:
“Rudy Giuliani is about to be implicated in the Russia scandal. He used to have Russia’s Alfa Bank as a client. The guy who was indicted today, his father-in-law is co-founder of that bank. Rudy is a key player in all of this. Probably why he’s not Attorney General.”
There’s a long list of people who are terribly regretting the moment they decided to get involved with Trump and his presidential campaign. It’s not likely going to end well for any of them.
