After a year as First Lady, Melania Trump is more popular than President Trump and White House adviser Ivanka Trump, according to a new poll released Friday.

In the Economist/YouGov poll, 48 percent of Americans surveyed had a favorable view of the first lady. Thirty-three percent felt negatively about Donald Trump.

Conservatives had a much more positive view of the first lady, with 89 percent having a favorable opinion. Just 24 percent of Democrats held a favorable view of her.

Melania is the only member of the Trump family to improve her favorable rating in the poll from a year ago. Last year, 44 percent of those surveyed had a favorable view of her.

Ivanka Trump’s favorable rating fell from 44 percent to 41 percent among adults surveyed.

President Trump’s favorable rating remains at 43 percent.

The poll surveyed 1,500 adult Americans from Jan. 14-16. and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.3. percent.
