A fan of Donald Trump viciously punched a woman eating dinner at a popular French restaurant in Brooklyn.

A 49-year-old woman who has not been publicly identified was at Bar Tabac in Boerum Hill with a female friend. According to the manager who was working that night, the two women were discussing politics when a man at a nearby table got into an argument with them.

The attacker asked the manager to kick the women out of the restaurant. Instead, the manager, Jonas Leon, moved the man and his dining companion to another table.

On his way out, the man punched one of the women square in the face.

“The guy came back almost running, and he started pushing some customer and the high-chair next to him with the baby because he couldn’t reach the girl,” Leon said. “Then he punched the girl.”

“The guy who punched the girl was pro-Trump for sure,” Leon said.

One witness, Katie Nave Freeman, told DNAInfo that “the woman was extremely shaken.” “She grabbed me, sobbed and held the left side of her face in her hand.”

An NYPD spokesman confirmed the assault. The woman did not suffer any visible injuries and refused medical attention. No arrests have been made in the case.
